Our Story
The Food Company was founded in 2011, and has its roots in the early 1900s when ‘Aunt Giulia’ was already trading pigs in our green Umbrian areas as a family-run pig breeding ‘company’. Today, we, members of the Giulivi family as its worthy third-generation descendants, continue to breed pigs with our own herds, taking care of both the pig trade, from slaughtering to the finished product (cured meats, porchetta, etc.). Today, ‘Giulia's’ grandchildren, always faithful to their history, continue and adapt for the needs of the increasingly global modern market the path undertaken by their family, with recipes that respect tradition and animal welfare as they have been taught and handed down.
